How will be the training tool developed in the context of the partnership “InterContexts”? How the closing conference in Riga organised by our latvian partner (the Integracijas Centrs in cooperation with the Urban Institute) will be linked with the work produced by the partnership? And how the partnership could dissiminate its results at local level (Latvia), at regional level (Baltic countries) and at european level? These questions were at the focus of the bilateral meeting between the Latvian team (Jonas Büchel, Guna Garokalna) and the German team (Christian Ernst, Tita Kaisari).
After a thought-provoking and passionated discussion about our projects; the intersection between civic education and social work in both local projects; the concepts of “intercontext”, “identity”, “civic education” and “participation”, we developed a general concept for the conference in Riga (17 May 2013). An important aspect of the concept is the contribution of the “InterContexts” learning partnership in this conference.
More to come about the Conference in Riga on Friday 17 May 2012 in the next months!
